We are proud to be developing resilience.io with the RESIST (Resilient Economy and Society by Integrated SysTems modelling) project, funded by Newton Fund (via NERC/ESRC) and NSFC on their IRNHiC call, Increasing Resilience to Natural Hazards In Earthquake-prone regions in Dechang county, China

We will work with scientists from the University of Bristol and The Institute of Mountain Hazards and Environment, part of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

How to build resilience.io for sustainable urban energy and water systems

Dr Xiaonan Wang presents, How to build resilience.io for sustainable urban energy and water systems, an Energy Seminar for The Energy Futures Lab at Imperial College, London on 2nd December 2016.

Xiaonan explains the work so far in it’s strategic context and introduces new development to the platform since the debut of the prototype earlier in 2016. The platform has been extended from it’s WASH sector prototype to include components to allow it to model the energy mix in the GAMA region and has been used to evaluate a water purification technology for it’s viability. The prototype has been developed to a software beta version with a graphical user interface and app launcher.

URGED Project – Stirling city-region demonstrator

We are pleased to announce the start of a new resilience.io project co-funded by the European Space Agency and in partnership with Rezatec, the leading satellite geo-analytics company.  The objective will be to bring innovative Earth Observation data to support city-region resilience planning through resilience.io.
